Conditions Of Entry

  1. Introduction

Welcome to Japanese Bath House located at 259 Sir Thomas Mitchell Drive, South Bowenfels, NSW Australia. By entering and using our public or private bath house or other facilities (Bath House), you agree to abide by the following Conditions of Entry (Conditions of Entry).

To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all our guests, please carefully read and adhere to the following Conditions of Entry.

  1. General Conditions

2.1 Compliance with INSTRUCTIONS

(a) All guests must comply with these Conditions of Entry and instructions provided by the Bath House’s staff.

(b) Failure to comply with these Conditions of Entry may result in immediate removal from the premises without refund.

(c) We reserve the right to change these Conditions of Entry without prior notice.

2.2 Health & SAFETY

(a) Guests are required to ensure that their use of the Bath House does not pose a risk to their own health or the health of other guests. Running is strictly prohibited within the Bath House premises.

(b) Guests must use caution when entering and exiting wet areas within the Bath House as surfaces may be slippery. 

(c) Those with certain medical conditions, including but not limited to heart conditions, high blood pressure, or skin infections, are advised to seek medical advice before using any facilities. Prior to using any facilities, you must inform us of any condition which may affect your ability to use the facilities safely. 

(d) Guests with open wounds, infections, or contagious diseases are not permitted to use the baths.

(e) Pregnant guests must consult their healthcare provider or medical professional before using our facilities to ensure it is safe for their specific health circumstances. We may require evidence from any pregnant guests confirming that they can safely use the facilities. 

(f) If you sustain any injury or illness or begin to feel or unwell while us the Bath House facilities, you must stop using the facilities and immediately inform Japanese Bath House personnel.

2.3 HYGIENE REQUIREMENTS

(a) All guests must thoroughly wash and rinse their bodies before entering the facilities in the Bath House. Nudity is not permitted and swimwear or towels, as specified by the Bath House, must be worn at all times.

(b) It is strictly prohibited to spit, blow your nose, or release any bodily fluids in the Bath House. 

(c) We do not permit any pets or animals to be brought into any part of the premises. 

2.4 RESPECT FOR FACILITIES

(a) Please treat the facilities in the Bath House with care and consideration. Guests will be responsible for the cost of any replacement or repair required due to damage caused to the Bath House, whether intentional or accidental.

(b) Unless otherwise agreed, guests with hired towels or robes provided by the Bath House must return upon check out. Removal of any Bath House property is strictly prohibited. Guests will be charged for the cost of replacement of any missing Bath House property. 

(c) Where you have hired any towels or robes or hired a locker during your stay, we reserve the right to charge a replacement fee if any towels, robes or keys are not returned to us. 

2.5 AGE RESTRICTIONS 

Guests must be 15 years or older to enter the Bath House and always accompanied by an adult.

2.6 PHOTOGRAPHY AND RECORDING 

Professional photography and video recording equipment or similar devices are strictly prohibited within any public areas in the Bath House. You may use a mobile phone to record or take photographs of yourself or other members of your party but you must not photograph or record any other guest or Bath House personnel.

3.1 RIGHT TO REFUSE ENTRY

We reserve the right to refuse entry or remove any guest who fails to comply with these Conditions of Entry or whose presence is deemed inappropriate or disruptive.

3.2 REFUNDS

No refunds will be issued for admission fees or any other charges in the event of removal of any guest or refusal of entry of any individual for any reason, including due to non-compliance with these Conditions of Entry.

  1. PROHIBITED CONDUCT

4.1 BEHAVIOUR

Guests are expected to conduct themselves in a respectful and courteous manner. Any inappropriate behaviours, including lewd acts, harassment, or any form of aggression, will not be tolerated and will result in removal from the Bath House.

4.2 ILLEGAL SUBSTANCES

(a) The use of alcohol, drugs, or any other illegal substances is strictly prohibited on the premises.

(b) Smoking & vaping are strictly prohibited on the premises except in the designated smoking area.

4.3 FOOD AND DRINK

Food & beverages (except water) are not permitted inside the Bath House and must only to be consumed outside the premises.

  1. LIABILITY

5.1 GUEST LIABILITY WAIVER 

Before entering the Bath House, each guest must read and sign the Guest Liability Waiver. You must not enter the facilities unless you have signed the Guest Liability Waiver. Please see a member of staff for further information.

5.2 CAR PARK

Entry to the car park is at your own risk. Japanese Bath House is not liable for any damage or lost to your vehicle that may occur in the car park.

6. CHANGES TO TERMS

Japanese Bath House reserves the right to modify these Conditions of Entry at any time. Any changes to the Conditions of Entry will be posted on our website and are effective immediately.
